Show your Local 2 pride starting day one! New apprentices can do this by joining Stanley Black & Decker’s Trade Proud campaign starting May 1st. High School seniors entering the trades are encouraged to announce their decision loud and proud on their social media accounts.
Stanley Black & Decker created this campaign as a way of applauding the young men and women who are choosing careers in the skilled trades. Their company recognized that the skilled labor shortage is one of the biggest challenges facing the U.S. economy, so it only made sense to spotlight these high school seniors reigniting the workforce of America.
