On Sunday, March 26th, we held our Local 2 pension and annuity meeting with great turnout. As a union, we prioritize taking care of our members long after they hang up their hard hats. It’s always encouraging to see so many of our brothers and sisters make it out to have their voices heard. This type of open discussion allows us to make decisions to meet the needs of the hardworking men and women who make up our great union.
One of the central topics of discussion was the member’s retirement credit. All questions and concerns have been heard and will certainly be taken into consideration at Local 2’s upcoming board of trustees meeting. After all, we are, and have always been, a union where all our members have a voice.
